TRIPPY
Trippy is a large-scale vase, produced with a combination of glassblowing techniques. The vase with an impressive height of 60cm is part of Massproductions’ collection The Little Things.
The name Trippy is based on the transition from the normal to the surreal. A bit like an evening where things start predictably and later become more and more odd, explains Massproductions’ design manager Chris Martin. Trippy’s cone-shaped base is produced in a mould while the expressive top section is created separately by free blowing, making each vase unique.
